Zambra Gitana at the Cueva Los Tarantos in Sacromonte with Drink

The Cueva Los Tarantos is one of the most deep-rooted flamenco venues in the Sacromonte. Founded in 1972 by Don José Martín Quesada and Doña Concepción Maya Maya, this family-run cave has been offering an authentic show of Zambra Gitana in the heart of the gypsy neighborhood of Granada for over fifty years. Historical figures of Granadian flamenco such as Luis Heredia "El Polaco", Morenito de Íllora and singer Chonchi Heredia have performed on its stage, establishing the venue as a reference for jondo art in its original context.

The show lasts one hour with a cast of between 10 and 12 artists performing the Zambra in its purest form, with dancers, guitarists and singers inside the cave, just a few meters from the audience. The capacity of 190 people and the layout of the space allow for close attention to every detail of the performance in a way that is hard to find in other formats. The included drink can be enjoyed during the show.
